1. "The 10 sculptures"
Created by the sculptor Jens Galschiøt symbolize the balance between man and nature. Togheter with Eco-net from Denmark (and later with the swedish Ekocentrum and the norwegian Ideas Bank) has the sculptures been developed to the main symbol for the decade's
ambitious goal of a new action competence. The sculptures will be set up world wide, starting with the sculptures placed in Copenhagen under COP15.
2. “Balancing Act in the Nordic Folk high schools”
The campaign will strengten the different activities for a sustainable futures in the schools. Best practices from different schools in the Nordic countries gives a good picture of the activities. The campaign is based on three commitments: 

    - The teaching includes sustainability in both
      theory, practice and values
   - Ensure that the institution's own operations are
      sustainable
   - Use these practical  experience in public and
  
   political debate on sustainable development

3. "The Book of Balance"
will promote the UN decade of education for sustainable development - creating debates. Exciting examples from Nordic homes, schools, municipalities and businesses on how they  reduce their impact on nature and increase the quality of life. The examples and experiances will in a broader perspective present part of solutions for all of us. The best practices will come togheter with background information, theories and tools for action on the local level. The book will first be available in Norwegian and Danish.
